Oxbow Center Conference Room FAQs

Did you know that the Oxbow Center offers a fully equipped conference room for all your meeting, conferencing, and presentation needs?


Meeting rooms in coworking spaces provide several benefits to event organizers and participants.


Below are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions regarding the space.


1. Do you need to be a member of the Oxbow Center to use the conference room?


No—as long as the room is available, your group is welcome to reserve it by the hour. However, members receive a set number of hours to use the conference room for free, so if you intend to use the facilities regularly, it may make more sense to sign up as a member.


2. What amenities does the room provide?


Our conference room seats 12 and features a 70" screen with video conferencing capabilities. There's also a coffee maker, HDMI connectivity, a large dry erase board for collaboration and note-taking, modern decor, and plenty of natural light. Should you have other AV needs, such as Apple TV, sound equipment, or a projector, you can rent these items from the reception desk.


3. Can I book additional rooms outside of the conference room?


Yes, we will try to accommodate your group as best as we can. Many organizers like to have breakout sessions in different spaces or need access to the copy machine and other amenities in the coworking space. If there aren't scheduling conflicts, we can arrange this!


You also have the option of working from the coworking space the day of your meeting. The Oxbow Center offers a drop-in pass, which can help you find your bearings and set up before your meeting or spend the rest of your workday after your meeting.



4. What happens if my meeting runs over?


If there isn't a meeting right after your own, we can offer a small grace period if you lose track of time. We can also provide your group with another space in the building where you can carry on your discussion after your slot has ended (see question 3).


5. Who uses the space?


We've received bookings from businesses, civic organizations, educators, government entities, and more. A coworking space isn't just a great venue for a meeting; it's also a networking goldmine.


While we do have some permanent residents at the Oxbow Center, many of those who use the conference room and classroom space are simply event organizers looking for a professional space that meets their needs.


6. How do I get started?
